I have only ever seen Halloween and Halloween II. So I had no clue what I was getting into with this movie. My friend Mikey insisted that I just HAD to see it so i figured why not.
The thing he forgot to mention was... This is not a movie about Michael Myers. I spent the first hour waiting for him to show up. Oncce that was over I was able to fully focus on the movie. The acting was over the top in the way that some older movies are but it worked. The main character Dr. Challis is a charismatic dude that has a heart but doesn't always make great choices. His companion Ellie played by the lovely Stacey Nelkin is searching for answers.
This is all set 8 days before and leading up to halloween. There is a comercial for halloween masks which is set to the tune of London Bridge which is wicked catchy. Over all this was a great horror movie.
