Geek meets spy. Chuck Bartowski is a normal dude working at the Buy More in their service department The Nerd Herd. He is implanted with government secrets and is assigned to the care of agents Casey and Walker.
The format is bad guy of the week which is fine because I like that sort of thing. Though the show is able to be digested on an episode by episode basis there is a season wide plot. The characters are well defined and feel real even though at times they are caricatures of existing tropes. Chuck is your awkward geek with a heart of gold. Sarah is your super spy who just might want a normal life. Casey is a character who seems to be a jab at the hardcore republican types. The only one who can really be a bit much at times is Chuck's best friend Morgan.
